Fantastic service

First gave a no BS review and suggestion to try to repair. When it was obvious we had to replace, service was excellent, professional and friendly. Price was most competitive amongst others.

I completed a diagnostic. Customer was concerned with blinking light He saw at furnace. This is just a normal status light. Cycled system checked charge (ok) Found 35/5 cap is weak but customer wants to hold off on replacing this because he is considering replacing air conditioner since it is undersized. It is only a 2 ton and probably should've been a 2.5 ton due to size of home. Customer joined SMA program and has 2-tuneups remaining.

I completed a diagnostic. I found the humidifier running constantly because it was turned to the on position at the humidistat. The water panel had disintegrated and water was leaking out of the humidifier. Showed customer how to properly care for humidifier and she is going to get some Aprilaire #35 water panels on Amazon. Additionally I found water leaking through the intake pipe into the furnace. This is being caused by the hot humid air coming in the intake pipe being pulled into the furnace area causing condensation to form inside the PVC, there is enough free combustion air in this basement so I went ahead and just disconnected the intake pipe. Did not have a 2 inch pvc cap so I just taped it with metal tape so now at least no water is continually dripping into the furnace. Doesn't appear to have damaged anything. Checked drain and refrigerant charge, both of them checked out OK so these should be the only two sources of water at the furnace area.

I performed a diagnostic on a 2011 Goodman gas furnace that will not heat or ignite. The gas valve is receiving the proper voltage, and there is still gas coming to the valve but it it is not opening up. The customer will replace the gas valve.
